The Typhon is berthed for the night awaiting the dawn before taking to the open seas again. In the cabin and on the landing stages, the crew gradually disclose yarns of mariners, mermaids, ocean depths and sea monsters, treasure islands, piracy, the miraculous draught of fishes, drinking, ladies of the night, and more. From time to time, the captain plays a few tunes on the accordion, the sailors start to sing and their audience joins in the chorus. The audience goes up to the captain’s cabin in groups of +/-10 people to listen to a mariner’s yarn.
