LUMINESCENCES
The senses of sight and hearing are given pride of place for an evening in the Cour du Conservatoire. Free-dive into a garden of light created by unrestrained nature or a transgenic future, a poetic world imprinted with eccentricity: 80 giant flowers, turquoise in colour, have grown in the middle of the courtyard. Little by little, these new shoots mix into the existing shrubs and bushes to form a single entity.
The garden is not just a feast for the eyes: the subtle notes of dozens of scattered musical boxes accompany the stroller and induce meditation.
For several years now, Sophie Guyot has been working with light and the many ways of playing with it. Her work, focusing on the poetic aspect of organic forms, is part of a global reflection on the interaction between man and nature and explores the fantasies created by experiments in genetics and molecular physics.
