A leading fi gure in the New York theatrical scene, Daniel Fish also draws heavily on film. In his dual-display video installation Eternal, two actors loop repeat the last scene of the film Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. For two hours, the same replicas are whispered, wailed, buried under peals of laughter or drowned in tears. The text becomes the score of a map making of the human spirit. A real tour de force!
