Inspired as always by music, Brussels-born visual artist Pierre Debusschere has been working with De Munt on the visuals for the 2014-2015 season. Here, the man who made his name in fashion breaks all the codes of glamour in a long, colourful, trancelike, enchanting exploration of how bodies move. I Know Simply That The Sky Will Last Longer Than I is a stylised film investigating the body and the relationship between the creative process and music. It will be projected inside La Monnaie, accompanied live by the musicians of the house orchestra, conducted by Bassem Akiki. On the square, live artists and DJ’s will accompany visual creations by Pierre Debusschere.
