L’Empire
Aurélien Vernhes-Lermusiaux [FR]

  • installation-en
  • Interactive
  • Kids friendly

A French film maker trained at Le Fresnoy, Aurélien Vernhes-Lermusiaux creates films and installations that question the concepts of trace and memory. His interactive work L’Empire plunges us into urban landscapes in ruin and invites us to revive them through our presence and our movements. An arousing sensory experience that transforms the viewer into a ghost of a place where life has passed by.

Zinneke [FR] - Fragil

Zinneke brings together residents, users, associations, schools and artists from Brussels to organise creative, qualitative projects in the capital city. Best known on a wider scale is the Zinneke Parade, which takes place every two years. In the year with no Parade, Zinneke always creates an event around the theme of the Parade to follow (21/05/2016). In the sidelines of the ‘Fragil’ exhibition, Aurélien Vernhes-Lermusiaux joins in with an interactive feature.
