A tripod, a camera, an actress. With the aid of costumes, hairstyles, shots, reverse shots, the space occupied and, most importantly, the interpretative capacity of the viewer’s gaze, we soon have a story, characters, relationships, a film unfolding before our eyes, in real time. Movies on my own is an exploration of a narrative constructed by the artist, somewhere between theatre and cinema.
