Nosferatu, The Phantom of the Opera, Letter from an Unknown Woman… Passion, frustration, loneliness, vanity: Denis Gueguin’s film manipulates romantic codes and transports us into a dreamlike world with a soundtrack of German folksongs and electronic music. Images and sounds are layered on top of one another in a strange harmony which is enhanced by the presence of opera singers.
