Facilities for the disabled
This year, NUIT BLANCHE is joining forces with the non-profit organisation Intro to improve facilities for the physically disabled, and more specifically by offering to escort those with limited mobility and the partially sighted.
By focusing not just on the accessibility of the event, but also on the specific information, Intro removes the obstacles frequently encountered by the disabled and works in favour of equal opportunities.
To concentrate more on this work of adaptation and inclusion, NUIT BLANCHE is developing an escorted tour which will consist of a dozen artistic projects which are more adapted to the partially sighted and people with limited mobility.

The escorts received training at a workshop organised on 29 September from 10am till 2pm at “Au quai” (23 quai de Hainaut 1080 Brussels). The course has been given by Ana Stegnar (choreographer of the performance Funerale dell’Utopia, programmed this year) and Saïd Gharbi (blind dancer) of the company Les BGM whose performances regularly deal with the theme of blindness.
